Sins of My Father

Sins of My Father

Sins of my Father (Book & Documentary) is the life story of Tommy Fate McIntosh

Tommy Fate McIntosh is the son of Little Rock Activist Robert ‘Say’ McIntosh.

Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, Tommy McIntosh began selling marijuana at the age of 16. At 23, McIntosh was arrested while trafficking 4.5 pounds of cocaine from California to Little Rock. Prosecuted as a major kingpin, McIntosh was convicted and sentenced to 50 years in prison and fined $250,000.
After serving 4 years and 2 months, on January 21, 1993, one day after Arkansas Governor William Jefferson Clinton was sworn in as the 42nd president of the United States, McIntosh walked out of Tucker Maximum Security Prison a free man. He was granted a controversial and unprecedented clemency.

His controversial release set legal precedents, changed policies and created new laws. But 17 years later, questions still remain. How did this happen? Why did it happen? Who knew? Who was involved? And most important, who ordered it? The paper trail runs from McIntosh’s father’s house… to the drug house… to the White House as McIntosh tells the real story of his life. The drugs, the money, the people, the politics… McIntosh tells it all in his autobiography, Sins of My Father.

But before he could complete the book, tragedy struck as his wife shot and killed him. Now, author Deborah Robinson uncovers the details of his death to complete the book McIntosh lived and died to tell.
